The New York New York In Las Vegas Las Vegas is world famous. Most people don't realize that it's a real city and not just casinos, but that's beside the point. While millions of people come to Las Vegas each year, many of them stay and play in one part of the entertainment district-the Las Vegas Strip.
On the Las Vegas Strip are many casinos. You can walk up and down it and never get bored. Anchoring one of the key intersections on the Las Vegas Strip is the New York New York. You'll know it when you see it. There's a huge replica of the Statue of Liberty right in front. And in the water around it is a NY Fire Department boat. It's an amazing scene.
Oh, and if you're blind, listen for the screams of joy. The New York New York features a wild roller coaster that goes through the casino and outside. It's one of those things you just have to do when in Las Vegas. One of the most surprising aspects of the New York New York is how affordable the rooms are. You'd expect them to be more since the hotel and casino is smack dab in the heart of the Las Vegas experience.
One of the more popular non-gaming attractions has to be the ESPN Zone. Yep, sports baby. The ESPN Zone spans an amazing 33,000 square feet-that's huge. It offers up sports dinning
for the sports enthusiast. Are you used to eating at places that have 1, 2, 3 or 4 TVs going? Yeah, that's not going to work. The ESPN Zone has 165 TV monitors showing sports. Try to find a bad place to watch the game, it isn't happening.
Many go to the ESPN Zone for the interactive and competitive games. Their sports arena takes up about 10,000 square feet. Heck, they even have the SportsCenter Studio Store where you can pick up ESPN gear and merchandise.
Ah yes, I forgot to mention something about the roller coaster. It's not your dull and boring traveling carnival roller coaster that goes maybe 10 mph. The Manhattan Express has a feature moment where your cart is taken 203 feet in the air and then dropped 144 feet at 67 mph. Heck, it even simulates a barrel roll in a jet fighter and has a section where riders get a taste of negative g-force.
The New York New York should be on any Las Vegas traveler's list of places to see. The gaming options are top-notch and there's a ton of stuff to do. Will Win is a professional gambler, ex casino dealer and author. Play online casino games at the top online casino!
